Yeah but since any A,K,Q is kinda killing the action and any J,10,6 are scar cards I was thinking that three betting the flop has more value to it.

I wouldn't worry about him folding if you raise a K or Q on the turn, it rarely happens. Even if he does fold he's making a mistake with 5+ outs so it doesn't matter. The fact that J/T/6 are scare cards *for you* is more reason to wait for the turn.

Being OOP is not an issue here? I agree that its fine if he bet/folds a 5 outer but its a problem when he checks behind an A, K or Q turn or just takes a free card for some other reason, right?

EDIT: LOL Hero has position. NM!

Yeah but what if he checks a K,Q,A ????? We are losing a SB in this situation.

And calling will save you a SB when he the turn is a card that fills up his draws and win you a SB when he bet/calls a turn brick with a worse hand

Your equity is not that great on the flop so waiting for the turn to see if as brick comes of is fine. He wont always check a A, K or Q turn either.

You played this hand well IMO

Those are only a certain percentage of the cards that can fall, and he won't always check them, and on any other cards, or even these, where he bets the turn and calls down a raise we make +1SB. There are also other benefits to waiting as mentioned, like if a bad card falls off for you.
