Default Welcome Granny!

Welcome to modding! I was beginning to think that you knew too many of Mason's dirty little secrets to become a mod!

Thank you,

Jim Kuhn

Well, so much for the custom of consulting other mods before making a new mod. I'm somewhat neutral here, but I know for sure that a cursory search will turn up plenty of mods who aren't as pleased as you are, Jim. Regardless, welcome GM, and enjoy your stay.

that's pretty sad, huh?

these mods you speak of clearly take life too seriously to care one way or another.

Or they are new to the site and don't know who made large contributions to this site to make it as popular as it is today.

That Granny's done some very nice things to the site doesn't really excuse the utterly trollish behavior that he's engaged in in the past.

I think 2p2 has has a long history of valuing tenure far too highly. Don't really understand this choice at all.

Dids, Granny is guaranteeing everyone a 100%+ return on their investment in idol wagering... seems like a pretty decent reason to Mod him...

ps... great sticky Granny

i refuse to get in a pissing war with you Dids, as it would not even be a sport. more like a massacre.

however, i'm interested to know if you would have thought my behaivor to be utterly trollish if it were not directed against a buddy of yours?

Granny is modding a forum that didn't exist before he suggested the topic for it, and, as far as Granny believes, he is a temporary mod over this temporary forum, for the sole reason that he has specialist knowledge in gambling on the subject topic.

So, why be unpleasant to him and about this interesting development of site policy just for the sake of being unpleasant?

The opening of the new forum and that Granny is the mod in it isn't going to affect you, or anyone else not interested in AI, one iota.

thanks mike.

truth is that i was going to start a yahoo, private discussion group this year. i was in the middle of creating content when i thought about the fact that i would love for this to happen at 2+2, even though it would make it far from private like yahoo, and certainly more work than a yahoo group.

the point is that i care very much for the honchos at 2p2. always have, always will. i've also come to deeply respect many, many of the mods here. because of the way i feel about 2p2, i offered mat this forum idea with the stipulation that i wanted to co mod it with MH.

mat et. all agreed, and here we are. my intentions were to bring something to the table that may help attract more members, and certainly would not do anything to jeopardize losing any members. more members = more page views = more ad revenue = better book sales etc.

my intentions were not to seize a modship through a Hokey new forum. my intentions were to be loyal to friends and allow them to possibly make an extra piece of incremental coin.
