quick arb question re: bonuses. . .I always thought that a lot of the value in arbing bonuses was being able to lose your entire balance at a bonus book and win the same amount at another book thus "clearing" the bonus immediately. Is this just not practical with betting limits or am I misguided?

It depends on the site and the limits and bonus. If the limit for the event is higher than your deposit + bonus, then you can arb and bust it right away if you lose at that site.

Arbing the spelling bee, you cannot clear the bonus in one bet if you bust. If you are betting a football spread, most likely you can.

bet the max on the - odds side, and then bet enough to win the same amount on the + odds side.

or if the max bet on the + side is too low, do the reverse.

edit: i mean bet enough to win the same amount of (bet + winnings)

--> arbcentral

--> betting tools

--> arb calculator

Just plug in line, limit, and other line and it will tell you the EV and what to bet.

+108 on cincy -6 at mansion exchange. there was +110 but i got all of that. unfortunately i didn't realize bodog's max bet online was $525 and i've left myself open to about $150 of my mansion bet... whoops. is it worth it to try and call bodog to see if they'll let me wager $150 more? or will they label me a whore/sharp?
