The range of hands that call you on the turn which you are ahead of far outweigh the range of hands that beat you. I advocate checking the river for reasons stated, not really the turn.

there is no so much value in river bet except another weak 9's.
probably the best thing when you dont have reads on villian - try to research him first. the river card was scary and bluffy and if you want catch him on bluff i try to get more reads first.

I think that 109, J9, and Q9 RR on the flop. Maybe Q9 is RRing for value, but I don't see it. Sorry. 88 RRing here is absurd.

Yeah but that is if villain is a thinking opponent. Against a random guy that bought in for an odd amount I can def see a retarded value shove by a worse hand.
