Am i the only one who sees no enjoyment in playing tough players hu?

(i do play lots of hu)

playing good players is like one of my favorite things to do in poker...
dont you want to be the best? then you need to play and beat the best

plus it helps to learn faster playing better players, builds confidence, etc.

i think its beneficial and challenging at the same time.

though it can be very costly.. sigh

George -- I think at a fixed buyin (like into HULA), playing strong opponents is really helpful to one's game. Sure, I don't "enjoy" it in terms of a +EV money-making scheme, but I think its educational value is more than enough given the entry fee.

Also, if I am in HULA, then my opponents won't have to play a tough player; they get to play me instead.

I am interested in playing. 1k is fine, but if there is a lower buyin, I would opt for that.

how many weeks did it go last time?
how many teams/players per team?

Recognition is nice, but I'd rather have the $ than be the best.

Also I think there is plenty to learn by playing bad players, and it's not like I'm not already playing vs. great players day in and day out anyway

I'm going to modify my initial offer. I will only do hula if I get to play gehrig, and the winner is deemed 'king of Chicago'.

Im in if someone organizes it...

maybe we can do like a league for rolls..
gets all the 2+2 togethers in a massive HU for rolls tournament.. That way every limit will only have one super rich player who will get all the fish to himself??
