Re: Sunday Million: AQ Bustout hand
cbet on flop is fine. that flop rarely hits anybody.
c/c on the turn seems fine to me. Even though the flop call is scary, there are still many hands that he could be calling with that you beat. You're too shallow to let this go when the turn hits your hand. So what you are trying to do now is to maximize your winnings when you are ahead. It doesn't much matter what happens when you are behind, because the villain is getting your stack anyway. On the turn, a bet or c/r screams ace, and there aren't many or any draws that you are protecting against. So c/c seems fine to me. On the river, you need to bet. You don't want 77 or 99 or 9Ts or A8 to get away. If the villain has you beat, he's betting the river anyway. |

Re: Sunday Million: AQ Bustout hand
Have been reading the forums for a few weeks. First post, hopefully I can add something to these boards to make up for how much I'm learning.
I think the c-bet on the flop is fine. However, I'm checking that turn every time. My reason being the only hand I can see him having and calling with is a jack, AK or AT, two of which have you beat. I think he gives up a mid pp at this point. If he bets turn, I call and re-eval river. |
