Hand 1 completely fine
Hand 2 is pretty close but I don't know, at these levels you're rarely going to see someone checkraise the river as a bluff so I'd actually lean towards folding. I'd love to hear more input from others though since I'm still fairly new to mtts

Hand one... A little deep for me to be checking behind on flop/turn if that's what you're thinking... Flop is too scary to check behind, turn has too much value not to bet in a turbo, and we'll gladly take this pot now. Different structure though may be a check behind on flop (if it didn't look like this one) or turn letting him bluff off a few chips on the river.

Hand 2 Again the turbo format kinda keeps our foot to the floor, but that's an ugly turn river combo. It's kinda tough to put him on a hand by his play though, he's raising the flop or turn w J9, T8, sets..hard to put a T that beats us on the turn play, he's definitely not letting us see the river cheap beating us here. cautious TT... ThJh..68...?
In the heat of the moment I would prolly fold cause those cards are so scary, then later struggle to put him on a hand...
easy to say check behind on river (which non turbo is easy), but I am in a different frame of mind in the turbos... push edge hard, sign up for next one.. leak maybe...

Default results

villan turned over QK off in hand two...called my flop be with no pair or draw and the turn with a gutshot...the best part is he tried to advise me for a while how I misplayed my hand by slowplaying????

I guess the river could have been a fold but chipspeak put it best in that I could not for the life of me put him on a hand given the action...check behind in a turbo given that I had been pounding him for two hands seemed pretty weak also

I wouldn't raise to 80 preflop. All you're doing is broadcasting a big pair. Inexperienced players typically do this as they're afraid to see a multiway flop and make hard decisions later in the hand.

Which line would you rather have:

A) Raise to 80-100, get the pot heads up, *maybe* bust someone with TP vs your overpair, but most likely win a 300 chip pot (and rarely have to fold or make a hard decision).

B) Raise to 50, get a 5 way pot, and have to fold often but occasionally make top set to 2 pair or draws and win a 500 pot commonly and 6500 pot often?

While (B) is the more difficult line, it's going to make you more in the long run.

---

Second point: AA right after you win a hand can be worth more than the actual hand is worth. Contrary to what I just said, if you raise a bit more (80-100) with a hand immediately after you've been involved in a pot, you can get a bit more action. If you lost a pot, you're on tilt. If you won a pot, you're a maniac. Both are small human tendencies, and if you are playing against people who are paying attention (typically live), you can extract or build a bit more.
