Default good merge or bad spew on turn?

5/10 6-handed, eff stacks $1000. Villain (SB) is Thumper18, plays across several sites and is on the more passive side of TAG (maybe 24/12/2.5 or so?)

After MP and CO limp, I make it 55 with TT. SB calls, second limper calls.

Flop J 8 5 with a club draw. We all check.

Turn 3o. They check again, I bet $125 into $175 or so, SB checkraises to $360. CO folds, I shove, $600 for him to call in a pot of $1300ish.

dry?! i thought it had like 30 straight draws and a club draw, why is it dry? i'd be shoving bc i think draws are a decent amount of his range, or air, and that with < a psb left on the river (i dunno seems like 600 left in a pot of 850 or something) it would seem like he wouldn't be bluffing too often here, because it looks like onec we call here we're calling all rivers

so if you flat the turn, are the calling all rivers? i dont' believe him that he checked a strong hand again on a board that draw heavy, and he doesn't believe us that we checked behind a hand on a board that draw heavy, but in reality, i'm pretty sure we can have a jack.

Would he think your hand is well defined by checking flop behind (e.g., not a monster unless it's 33)? Probably.

His c/r is fishy as why would he check a good hand twice. So I guess I like this, though I treat it mostly as a value raise.

J895 has a tonne more feasable hands that crush us though.
