Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
[ QUOTE ]
It seems Oregon st. is a trendy pick on these boards, but I'd watch out for that game Brandon Lang likes Cincy. I like the M's Missouri, Memphis and Miss. St. any reason these teams don't all win by at least 7. [/ QUOTE ] Can't believe DrBob is copying Brandon Lang's picks. |

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
well...I still felt I was on the right side with the Beavers even when they were down 10-3 at half.
The second half makes me feel like an idiot, however. |

Did they pass a law against tackling non-female cousins in Kentucky this week or something?

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
Najdorf, you're missing the easiest argument in going for two
If they just trade 8 for 7 8 times and add an 8 at the end, they'll catch up |

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
Curry said that?
That's really stupidly weird. Did he also point out that your chances of successfully converting on 6 consecutive extra-points is higher than scoring those same 6 points via a TD when faced with 4th and goal from the 50? It's almost as relevant. In other news: After feeling like such an awesome amateur handicapper last week I officially feel like a total moron today. How on earth can LVL's D be that freaking bad? How the F did UC get so good? Somebody mentioned Fl Atl next week. That pick is definitely looking interesting since they beat MTSU last week and regardless of LVL's total stupidity today I think MTSU's offense deserves SOME credit for not completely sucking...and Fl Atl pretty much shut them down the week before. |

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
I have to say that a team which has put up 6 TDs in just over 45 minutes might be more than 50/50 on a 2point conversion as well

They can each score at least 7-10 here, right? [/ QUOTE ] Amazingly awful pick there inside the 10. Thanks for nothing, woulda just needed a Figgie in the final 6 mins for the push. Oh well, that's what donksized is for. |

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
[ QUOTE ]
Curry showing why he's no longer a coach...said it's easier to get 2 pts thru 2 XPs than a 2-pt conversion...perhaps true, but if you are down 16 you then must get AN ADDITIONAL SCORE you moron, unless you want to lose on purpose. Idiot. How can you do that analysis and ignore the fact that you need 3 scoring posessions in 1 scenario and only 2 drives in the other? Not to mention the fact that once in 4th Q, you may not get 3 add'tl drives! Esp v LV's offense... [/ QUOTE ] HAY guess what Curry, MTSU only got the ball one more time in the entire game down 2 scores. Your strategy is idiotic, DUCY??? |
