Default $11r.. I think I should squeeze here

MP1 is relatively unknown, but since coming here at 200/400, he's run his 25k stack down to 21k just by being not so good, and I've played with MP3 for the whole tourney, he's 52/1 so far according to PT.. and he's just no good at all. Is this an ample spot for a squeeze or are conditions right to just call? We're all sitting ~25bb deep effectively, and I have a fairly healthy stack, but I wanna squeeeeeeze.

This looks like a good spot to squeeze. There is a good amount in the pot and you are faced with a possible spewer's raise and a very loose player's call.

You might be able to get away with raising to 10k, but you might have to fold if you get 4-bet. Pushing here is probably the easier play to make if you decide to raise.

This is an excellent spot to squeeze, as for the rest illini handled it nicely.

You can call and post your flop action I don't think that's bad by any means as you have position and there is lots of set value.

I think shoving pre is just a lot easier.

The prob w/ squeezing here is that you're against an opponent who doesn't like folding PF. Your squeeze loses a lot of value just from that. Now you're going to act first in a ballooned pot where a CB is going to basically pot commit you to either one of their pushes.

Other option is just playing this one slow, NSNB style. You call 1600, and have the best relative position in the hand. If you spike your set, you're scooping a huge pot. If not, you lost 1600 and are left with a very healthy stack at a very weak table.

No need to get crazy OoP here.

Yeah, post your flop action, that seems to be the hardest part of your decision here.

I think a squeeze here is very nice and probably best.

The FE lost is compensated by the fact that he calls with a much wider range. I mean, it's difficult to see how calling is going to have a greater expectation than MP1 folding a lot and MP3 calling with 66+, AJ+, KQ+.

There is another problem with the "prob. squeezing" analysis here - there is a difference between calling an RR to see a flop and calling an RAI with KJo and a bunch of other overcards which he would simply call PF with. You have more FE than you think when pushing.

You still get him to make a mistake when he folds J10 or KQ while you protect what is likely the best hand against overs + win a nice pot. MP1 is just "bad," so if he calls with AJ or AQ or a bunch of hands of this ilk (the upper tier overcards), you are getting wonderful odds here and really shouldn't be passing up on this opportunity. As to the squeeze - go for it!
