Default $10R -- KK very deep stacked.

Average stack is 12k, Guy who shoved is a decently lag player ... however that probably has little to do with his range of what he's shoving here.... And if it helps, OPR says he has 10k winnings and -25% ROI on stars (nlhe mtt's)

Well, when the action got to me I thought for a while because I wanted to think about their hand ranges and what the best amount for me to bet would be, but then I remembered something from Sklansky’s (sp) nl holdem theory which stated (although about cash games I think MIGHT?? apply here: (and im not quoting)

If you have a big hand, you should bet one of two ways:

1. A "small, strength hiding bet" which doesn’t give away the strength of your hand and still gets money in the pot.
2. A “big, hand defining bet” which gives away the strength of your hand – BUT doesn’t give your opponents the correct implied odds to draw out on you.

So, that in mind, I decided to make it 4.5x the mini raise (no reads on what the mini raise meant btw) I honestly went into my time bank here.... about 30 seconds. I mean wtf.... can I seriously fold here? I have been thinking about it for a while

One thing to note is that when the action got to him he took about .5-1.5 seconds to shove all in.

So, yes – of course I figured his range was wider than AA. He was not the best player and had been very active. In the order of what hands I thought he most likely had from greatest to least:

AK
AA
QQ

Now, (I didn’t think of this at the time), I have two Kings in my hand. This means that AK is much less likely of a holding. This would make me have to drop AK probably to the bottom of the list (could someone show me how to do the math of how this effects the # of AK/AA/QQ hands there are left). This would then (in compilation with his quick shove) make the list look like this:

AA
AK/QQ

Thus making me lean towards folding. I think I have actually learned a lot just by writing this all out lol, however any additional input would be great

I would have snap called expecting to see AK a whole lot.

Hand 1: 49.965% 46.07% 03.90% 1056651 89343.00 { QQ+ }

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 22.585% 15.57% 07.02% 192184 86678.00 { KcKs }

You should only fold if you are sure he has KK+
