With the call on the flop, the min-raise on the turn, and the over-bet on the river I think I fold this. This seems to be a common line for a weak loose-passive player with a strong hand. However, I am sure his or her range also includes a lot of hands you beat including any 2X type hand, A8, A3.

What?

This isn't a vb with a worse hand. No one vb $200 in $30 with trips. And 7xpot bluffs are so rare that calling this would be terrible.

Fold, there is no money in the pot and the moron sticks his stack in. I dont see donks doing this with weak hands.

Just to add another couple of dynamics to the hand, the villan said this as I was timing down

jscottgolfer: i wouldnt
jscottgolfer: i will show you
MyIronThumb: fold?
jscottgolfer: fold

he also insta-pushed the river, not giving it any thought at all. Would any of this change anyones decision? It probably doesn't but it really gets me thinking when they start typing [censored] when your thinking.

also, who 4bets the turn? I was thinking about it but then I would still be left with a tricky spot if he pushed. to be honest I just expected him to pot the river and I could call it down, I didnt see much need in 4 betting.

Generally when someone starts typing they're confident and you should be more inclined to fold. The same goes for the insta-push on the river. The river push must have been planned from on the turn which means he's not like to have a draw on the turn (because in that case most like to see if they hit before they act) or a somewhat marginal hand like trips (there are quite a lot river cards trips should be worried about, straight completing and board pairing cards). It most often means he has a monster on the turn planning to insta push the river to make it look like a bluff. As said, a bet like this just ain't a bluff often at alland this decision isn't close.
