Boar steaks
Hi all,
I'm having my wine club over for dinner friday and, since it's wild boar month at D'artagnan, I got me some wild boar steaks. I've never made or had boar steaks before and would like to hear some ideas for preparation from the epicureans here. Right now my default plan is to marinade them in a tawny port/gin/garlic/salt/pepper concoction (but I'm open to suggestions). Then grill them. What sides would you recommend? And I'm trying to think of a lighter dessert since it's hot as hell down here. Suggestions? |
