I'm pretty good about pitching my cards into the muck (even from clear across the table) and placing my bets neatly within the dealers reach, but doesn't it seem odd that poker rooms would hire dealers with really short arms?
Shouldn't an adequate reach be a prerequisite to becoming a poker dealer. Assuming that pokeroom managers have a huge applicant pool to choose from, wouldn't "short-armers" be one of the first cuts? I really don't care as long as they run the game well, but it just mkes you think. Of course, if it's a cute little Asian dealer, I have no quams.

How about hiring someone who can do the job? Or perhaps the BLackjack dealers shouldn't be able to reach your bet as well??? The only thing arrogant here is your reply.

Yes - I've seen several at Commerce do that as well
In retrospect, the tables were bigger than what I usually play on. It really just slowed down the game, and it seemed like they were continually asking the corner players to throw their chips/cards in further. Perhaps I'm being nitty, but I can't blame the players, since they were throwing it over the line. Oh well, it's in the past now. no biggie.
