u checkd the flop back, he probably doesnt put you on AA or a hand as strong as you have. hence he can c/r the river with a wider range for bluffs and value, and you should be calling if you chk back the flop here imo. if he has KK, your hand looks weak and he should just be betting the river straight up since its unlikely you have a hand you wanna bet yourself. your hand looks like QQ/JJ

17/8 isnt really THAT nitty, so I'd generally just snap call it and chalk it up as a cooler since even nits will spaz out from time to time.

It's not just his stats though, I've played with this guy lots and he is not great, he just waits for big hands and idiots at 100nl pay him off anyway.
This guy never ever c/r the river as a bluff.
In fact as I already said I am fairly certain his range for calling the 3 bet is QQ-AA and AK
If he pushes flop he will have AA, AK or Kings, nothing else
