i really dont think villian bluff raises much here, if im raised given villians range thus far im sure hes not bluffing since he already had some sort of showdown value or draw that got there. ahhh how i love the narrow ranges full ring has to offer. [/ QUOTE ] uhhh what? if this is true then the plan created on the flop was retarded |

um its a bluff [/ QUOTE ] it's more of a negative expectation bet than a bluff IMO. [/ QUOTE ] I think his range is soooooooooooooo skewed towards air on the flop which is why we're floating OOP in the first place. |

Re: NL400 Reverse float turns into weird spot on river
I think a b/f line would be best. Good spot to pick up pot here....Check behind on turn looks like a white flag here, thinking you would fold to flop check raise. I cant see him calling here without a ten, and I would assume he is betting two pair again on turn.

Re: NL400 Reverse float turns into weird spot on river
mmmmk ive thought mo bout this hand and i can check fold the river or..maybe check call if he has a very high river bluff frequency. the check options would be best if his procilities are polar on the river where as the block 2 way bet is more appropriate for a balanced river better. I also bet bout 100. You range in his eyes is likely an ace granted that you called the flop( you are likely to have a bluff catching hand in his eyes on the river). I do however dont think hell bluff raise the river with enough frequency to worry about. He wont raise anything with showdown value and he cant be sure you wont call him light knowing a lone ten isnt a huge part of his range. there probably mo but its late and im not typing it =)

Re: NL400 Reverse float turns into weird spot on river
grunch.
i like check/call better than bet/fold. the only reason is your read and the fact that it is a blind battle. it sounds like he will stab at the pot a good % of the time. edit: "stab" also includes value betting a weak A. its a blind battle after all. normal logic goes out the window... |

um its a bluff [/ QUOTE ] you're joking right? seriously, I can't tell who's being serious and who's joking etc. etc. in these threads...it makes them close to pointless to read you think a weak ace is calling? what about a ck/call...let the agro guy bluff a scary board...and rarely will a worse hand call (Ax might, but I think "it" folds or wakes up and decides to bluff raise push at you) |

Re: NL400 Reverse float turns into weird spot on river
blocking betting is very bad unless the guy is calling with any A always.
its check fold or check call. I would also rather 3bet the flop than do that tricky stuff OOP |
