Default second monitor

Hi,

I recently purchased a second monitor for my lap top.
I set the screen resolution to 1600 by 1200.
When I dragged the games into the second screen they did not shrink. They stretched. I coudnt fit 4 games on it.

I then tried my friends old monitor (22") and it worked.

Does anyone know what could be the problem, I have tried a second monitor, and had the same prblem.

The two monitors I tried were wide screen while my friends wasnt.
I am not sure if this is the problem or not.

need help.

Thanks

from what I have seen, usually widescreens aren't capable of doing 1600x1200 except for the new extremely expensive one.

so make sure your widescreen's resolution can be up to 1600x1200 (which isn't a widescreen reso.)
