i call all mostly and raise a lot of flops. Opps range on button is fairly wide but a raise on flop polarises (cant be a real word right?) his range for us to play against easily on turn.
Also, his wide range cant stand a raise on this flop can it...

3betting A6s and JTs is certainly wrong. 3betting KQ might be fine but it's usually wrong too.

3betting pairs is ok under circumstances, but I would rather 3bet 22 than 88. With 88 I can happily call a cbet, whereas when I 3bet and he calls my c/bet on rags I am lost.

Say I 3bet all of them, I lead the A-high flop almost always. Give me a more interesting flop!

This is how 1/2 plays though.

Button opens 35% of their hands (cuz thats what 2p2 tells them to do LDO)

You 3 bet x/x from the blinds. They fold 75% of the time.

Of the 25% of times they call you cbet ANY and ALL flops they fold about 70-80% of the time and push the rest.

If they push call with your monsters and fold the rest.

Easy $$$$$$

This post might be giving too much away lol

that's why you're playing 25/50??

we're talking about 1/2 players. on average, they are idiots and can be run over.

Hey 3bet happy tagmonkeys. there are plays beyond 3betting and cbetting. I know thinking outside of these lines will hurt the brain, but its ok to try.

All of you guys hating on the 3betting...what would you rather do wit JTs there? fold? I guarantee you when I 3bet JTs from the blinds it's +EV. And I"m pretty sure I can get more EV out of it that way than calling. Maybe you guys can get alot of value out of your hands by calling from the blinds, but I can't alot of time.. So I 3bet, and it's profitable.

As for 22/55...it's +EV as well, but I can't say for sure it's more +EV than calling. That being said, it works well for me because I can outplay most players in 3bet pots.

I think alot of people who are coming in and saying "lol wow you 3bet so light" haven't really experimented very much with the idea (or play alot better than me postflop)

All you guys who c-bet when you miss and check when you hit, um, you realize that's terrible right?

[/ QUOTE ]

Terrible how exactly?

[/ QUOTE ]

seriously. i'll check the A6s pretty often on the ace-high flop. i'll also check AA/AK on that flop sometimes. i think some of you are giving the average 1/2 tag way too much credit.
