50nl - 6 Max - 67s bet sizing question
Villain is 20/8/3 over maybe ~100 hands.
He's at 3 of my tables, and I know he 12 tables, but we haven't tangled. Only time I've ever seen him bet this weak after the flop was when he had AQ on a rag board with 2 diamonds, cbet small, then checked in down in position. My main question is about the size of both my turn and river bets. Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $50 Hero: $55.70 Button: $58.70 SB: $24.55 BB: $26.30 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is CO with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG raises to $2, Hero calls, 2 folds, BB calls. flop call sux. turn bet sux. river bet goot. [/ QUOTE ] Agree on turn bet and river bet. I'm torn on flop call. Hero is getting 3.5:1 on the call. He has 5 outs to improve to 2 pair or better plus a couple backdoor draws that aren't worth much. I think there's a decent chance he's ahead already though. On the other hand, he's not closing the action. But I think I'd call getting those odds. Maybe a leak though. |

I don't really mind any of it.
I might sometimes reraise flop, or bet more on the turn or less on the river, but I'm certainly calling preflop. I can't help but feel this is as much value as you can extract from this hand in this situation. |

I don't like the preflop call unless u know blinds r passive. Even that's true, they hurt your implied odds.

Re: 50nl - 6 Max - 67s bet sizing question
How do you figure they hurt your preflop implied odds? Any additional callers, no matter how shortstacked, add to the total amount you could theoretically win in this one hand.
This is a perfectly good hand for a multiway pot. Now if they are aggressive, and are likely to raise, OK, I see the point. But that's pretty rare. Or if they were very short-stacked, and likely to push. but that's not the case. |
