I don\'t fold KK pre-flop, but seriously...
BB is completely maniacal and has raised big pre-flop several times only to fold to 3-bets, but MP2 is solid. Who folds here?
Party Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $3/$6 10 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $763.59 UTG+1: $122 UTG+2: $994.12 MP1: $699.15 MP2: $780.45 Hero: $901.52 CO: $401.64 Button: $862.68 SB: $215.41 BB: $1429.89 Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is MP3 with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 folds, MP2 raises to $18, Hero raises to $60, 3 folds, BB raises to $285.7, MP2 raises to $523.4, Hero... Also, I can't find a single converter that works consistently... any help? Kirk |

Re: I don\'t fold KK pre-flop, but seriously...
Is MP2 aware of BB's maniacal tendencies? and is he good enough to respond to a "squeeze" with a weak hand?

Re: I don\'t fold KK pre-flop, but seriously...
crud, odd spot. MP2 is certainly aware of what you are aware of (BB=tardo) and could very well be trying to isolate out the LAGtard. obviously, without the BB being who is he this is a fold but i think you can justify a push.
what are you running as? if you haven't 3 bet for the whole session (assuming a long session) you should be more gunshy here. how big do you estimate the BB's 4 bet range? if he is doing this with a variety of soft holdings, then this is good for you (in your OP, you didn't say BB 4-bet liberally or at all). I beleive that the BB needs to be 4-betting with crappy enough hands to make MP willing to play back agaist you both with QQ/AK and i dont really know if he is or isnt |

I think this has to be a call. If MP is good he will want to get HU with BB in a huge pot with QQ/AK.

Re: I don\'t fold KK pre-flop, but seriously...
i would naturally assume what you posted (as sort of stated in my other post)
however, one small matter exists and that is the BB-tard hasn't done any out of line 3 bets and certainly not any 4-bets. that is one concern - that and the fact that the OP, a TAG, is facing resistence from another TAG who presumeable knows he is solid and was 3-betting against the MP TAG opener and not the lardtard. still, because of the presense of the crazy BB, i think everybody's brain in this hand turns into the mindset of J778322's PL25 donkfest and things get crazy beyond the capacity to reason out in the heat of battle |

Mp2 is easily isolating BB (minraising to get you out) with JJ, QQ. Looks like a push.

I probably should've made it more clear in my original post that my image is rarely "TAG" and I have a pretty wide 3-betting range depending on opponent.
At the time I almost timed out then finally pushed it in but looking back and considering the points brought up already, it shouldn't have even been that hard. He still had AA, though, and they held up. Kirk |
