whats the biggest/most exploitable leak that most SSNLer's have?

Edit: and how do you exploit it?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not bluffing enough in valuebetting spots (mostly the river). Exploit by not making thin calls.

if you had a noob come to you and want to learn poker completely from scratch, what would be your suggested plan of attack?

In other words, how do you wish you had gone about learning to pwn?

What is the one thing you 'learned' that you wish you could 'unlearn'?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would play heads up no-limit holdem against them.

Probably bluffing too much.

Isn't that just ironic?

One was with bobbo when he said that NL was about putting in money with an equity edge, not getting to showdowns.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you expand on this please? I don't really know what your getting at here. Hand examples if possible.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nothing deep... Think of a hand in terms of equity on each street, and try to get the maximum money in when you have an equity advantage.

[/ QUOTE ]

There was a pooh-bah post recently in MSNL, which talked about the idea that sometimes it was better to turn your hand into a bluff and take down a pot when you likely have the best hand, such as A7 on a 732 board, rather than letting other scare cards come off that may take away your ability to play the hand.....

It seems like this is at odds with much of what we are told with respect to Pot-size ideas, but what do you feel about this??
