Ok there's the hand in question. I've played the villain for several straight hours almost 400 hands at this point. His min-reraise oop preflop is standard for him. He does it so often that I don't even think it narrows his range much (one of the reasons I kept playing so long with him, he totally neglected position and love to raise oop). He is running 55/48/4.7. He almost never check raises and hasn't had any previous crazy overbets, after a total of 550 hands he check raised 5 times, 3 on the flop, one of which was this hand, and on this hand he check raised all in very quickly even though we're almost 220 BB deep. The only similar hand I could think of he cr'd me all in on a T66x board, and showed down KT to my JJ but we weren't nearly as deep at that point. I really had no clue what to do here, probably because I haven't played this deep much and it was such an overbet. Also, as a follow up question, do you think (with my image--having rarely 4-bet preflop) it is +EV to put in the 3rd raise with AA/KK, as you pretty much tell them your hand.

Call and expect to see a weakish hand like top pair or maybe a combo draw often.

The only thing that makes me want to call here is the KT hand you're talking about. How donkish was that? That hand aside, I would say if you have played 500 hands and he has never done this and his range includes T8/J7/etc, and he likely knows you have an overpair, I might fold.

I folded. Later, after the match, he told me he had Qs9s for pair and flush draw. My thinking was: there are alot of hands he has here that I am almost dead to (AA, sets, straight, and J9), alot of hands we are pretty much flipping (combo draws and pair + draws), but not very many hands where I have him dead (QQ, AJ, thats about it).
