Poo-holes has more HR at this point than Aaron had at the same age, what is remarkable about aaron is that he did it for so long. I also think the run enviroment arguement is played up a little too much, aaron wasn't exactly playing in the dead ball era. Pujols and Aaron are certainly at least close up to this point in pujols career.

Assuming that ARod and Pujols are going to keep performing at a high level into their mid/late 30s just because Aaron and Bonds did it is pretty stupid.

The only reason Ryan Howard won't get to 500 younger than A-rod is that he spent almost two years in the minors when the Phils had Thome at 1B. I mean really, he pretty much gave the entire NL a 6 week head start and he's only 2 HRs back from the league leader?
