Default UB vs FTP rakeback. Which should I go with?

Seems like I read somewhere that UB changed the way they calculate rakeback. I searched, but couldn't find anything.

Anyway, I have accounts with rakeback at both sites and currently have my roll in UB. Is it possible that my 27% at FTP will get me more money than my 30% at UB due to the way they are calculated?

Compare the good with the bad. First off, UB doesn't give rakeback on tourneys, so if you are a tourney player.. Then FT.

FT gives 3% less RB, but FT has dealt rake vs UB's contributed.

You can't go WRONG at either place (unless you are a tourney player)

My main question is which will get me more $/month, bottom line? I play $1/2(@200) NL 6-max, and play 20-30K hands/month.

if they're doing away with the points for cash thing at UB then FTP should see a higher RB return by some distance.

Looks like UB is doing away w/pts for cash, so I guess I should head to FTP. Thanks for the info.

How about this. I've still got about $590 to clear in the sign up bonus and I'm done on FT. I know that the bonus is subtracted from MGR but it still adds some $ that I'm not getting from FT. Does the added bonus make up for not being contributed?

Why would you want it to be contributed?

What I never understand about threads like these is that some people seem to be choosing sites based on a percent or two of rakeback. Do people actually find sites so identical in terms of playability, opposition, etc, that a few percentage points difference determines where they play? If so, I hope they also factor in the amount of rake they're paying in the first place.

I don't. Perhaps I wasn't being clear. Right now on Full Tilt, I'm just getting the RB as I've already cleared the bonus. On UB I'm clearing the crappy $1.90/hr bonus and I've got contributed RB there. I know that the bonus is deducted from my MGR but I'll still get some RB after the bonus is deducted. How do I determine how much I'm getting at UB compared to FT?
