Dear Sir or Madame,

RE: PokerStars Chat

I must object to an e-mail I received from your offices this morning regarding my alleged violations of chat privileges.

Surely you must note that PokerStars employs a number of features to prevent anyone from feeling uncomfortable at the tables. On such features is replacing 'foul' or 'abusive' language with *s.

The email I have received from one of your agents, a MR StephenT is therefore a misrepresentation on my part. Being conscious of the likelihood of having my chat banned for using offensive language, I only used such language knowing that these words would be replaced by incomprehensible stars. Surely a site which calls itself 'PokerStars' should not now imply that Stars are offensive? Is this not ludicrous?

I implore you to now recall my chat warning such that I may retain this for an occasion where it is truly warranted.

ou would not have to stretch your imagination too far. This is the line that we draw, the fact that the asterisks are there to clear the ambiguity. If you feel players are not obeying any of our chat policies, then you are more than welcome to email us and we will deal with them accordingly. Note that our chat warnings and revocations are distributed fairly and without bias or prejudice.
