Because I'm out of position with just an over pair on a now drawy board. It was for pot control purposes.

if he was on a FD, which the c/c makes it seem like, you just gave him a free card by checking the turn

I'm not sure if 67 would really want to see the flop for 6BB, so I wouldn't worry about a straight. You have also given the flush draw a free shot at the flush, which he subsequently hit.

Your $0.3 bet on the river was also pretty weak, and was bound to get raised given the earlier betting.

Well, look at it this way, if villain has a hand that's worth calling but raised instead, my AA is now a bluff catcher. If you have a hand that is now barely worth a check knowing you won't call a big river bet (which could also be bluffs), then block bluffing in this instance to prevent a check bet/bluff is good. Sometimes villain may just call and I still win showdown.

If I read that correctly - you're saying that you bet the river to prevent a bluff coming at you. If you are going to do this, surely you must put some strength behind your bet, to me the 30c bet was screaming fear.

My issue is really with your check on the turn with a flush draw on the table, I wouldn't let the villain see that river for free, not with the amount of players at these limits calling with any suited cards.

More strength on this river would probably be at least $.90 or more. If you're beat, do you really think a larger bet is going to turn this river into a call by villain instead of raising as he did?

I think I would bet turn here as my experience here tells me I will get calls from many hands I beat. I play flop same way except I bet .45 or .50. Do you normally key in bets that aren't multiple of fives? I've noticed a few opponents doing that who seem pretty solid.
