^lol

I think we should all join in on helping Vinetou with his calling stationism.

Sort of like AA, except it is calling station's named.

Pre-Flop: (45) K 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
Hero raises to 90, BB calls 60

Flop: (180) 6 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K (2 Players)

I always feel like a total donk when I make that call and get shown K8 or some [censored] like that.

The all-in just looks so damn weak from most people that I end up calling a lot though. Even with second pair good kicker, sometimes.

:/

Dave, it is different in SNG's. In SNG's, even against a nit, top pair is a great hand. Against nits in HUCASH, this is not the case, because stacks are deeper and they play on scared money. I made another bad call today and the problem is that I know he has me beat but I still call. I am not advocating folding top pair against most villains, just against nits. And there are a lot of nits in HUcash, because they can get away with that style.

Well, when I can afford it, I will be moving to cash, no doubt.

Pretty sure it's before. Look up the article, if you want to be sure. They do specify it there. I'm just too lazy to do the search for you, and I don't care enough to know myself, because I don't apply it religiously anyway.

Fourth hand of a 6 I just played:

Villain has 44

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (2 handed)

Button (t1660)
Hero (t1340)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Button raises to t40, Hero raises to t120, Button raises to t1660, Hero calls t1220 (All-In).

Flop: (t3000) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: (t3000) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t3000) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t2680

I just gotta keep telling myself that this is why a retarded monkey can beat this level. Although the jury's still out on whether or not I can.

Don't listen to someone who says you need a 54% win-rate to beat the rake .

You count the number of bb's AFTER you post the blinds .
