Why do people keep saying Jamie Gold is playing well??

He's spewing preflop, bluffing everytime he can and then missing value on made hands like that AQ vs Farha and another TPTK last week against Eli..

I don`t care how profitable is to play tight in this game or how nice the guy is...it`s a poker SHOW made for our entertainment and watching people fold does not entertain me.

But.. it is lil bit funny and close-ish to entertaining to see these online "taugh guys" looking and acting like fish out of water without their PTs and HUDs.

I guess it was producers mistake to invite online players hoping they will give some action live.
I hope they learned something and don`t make the same mistakes next season.

i dont get why jman played the way he did, if he was there to make money then im sure his time would have been better spent elsewhere. If he was there to prove how good he was then he failed. Surely when he was folding all those hands he must have known he wasnt gonna come across good on tv. I imagine they dont get many hands in an hour when filming so its pretty obvious youre gonna have to make some plays or get hit by the deck. Hopefully the next internet pro who gets on understands it might be +ev in the long run to lag it up a couple of hands.

Brandon Adams was also was ABUSED last night but, he at least tried to mix it up ,opening some funky hands, but was constantly re-raised bigtime by SF, folding every time except his KK hand to the other nit J.Harman

I mean he never played back at him ONCE!

Whatever the reason was ,dont use the "they only show so many hands" excuse. There was probably 8-10 hrs of realtime play the last two episodes.

Your telling me couldnt make any moves/pick any good spots, over that period of time, with a hand worthy of making the TV cut?

How can one play at the highest nose-bleed stakes online, and fold hand after hand after hand, where even Gabe Kaplan was punishing him as well, after each fold

Pleeeeeeze....IMO he was either financially/emotionally over his head,or he just plain choked!

LOL at this post. You raise 89, Sammy makes it 20K, what are you suppose to do? Make it 80K? You cant play back at someone that will call so wide. You just have to wait.

But then again, Im talking to someone that plays any ace for any amount.

I doubt Brandon was in over his head. If so he got over the fear pretty quickly considering he was playing Sammy and a couple of others 1/2/4 Uncapped NL in Bobby's Room and doing well.

It does in fact seem that JMan is playing super tight in this game, but anyone who says that Brandon A or Brian T played tight on HSP is insanely wrong. In fact Brian specifically made some huge plays just for the point of gambling it up. I suppose he should've just played tight for all the good it did his image.
