Default NL10, AQ vs. donk

Did I overplay this? Villain was 40/11, and playing with all kinds of junk.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 8 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

UTG: $15.90
Hero (UTG+1): $9.80
MP1: $1.70
MP2: $10.55
CO: $4.35
BTN: $1.85
SB: $6.05
BB: $4.65

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG+1)
UTG folds, Hero calls $0.10, MP1 folds, MP2 raises to $0.45, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.35

Note: I limped because the table was loose and I knew someone was going to raise behind me.

Flop: ($1.05) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $0.90, MP2 raises to $1.80, Hero calls $0.90

Turn: ($4.65) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $4.65, Hero raises to $7.55 and is All-In, MP2 calls $2.90

River: ($19.75) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $19.75 Pot

"Note: I limped because the table was loose and I knew someone was going to raise behind me."

This is EXTREMELY FLAWED because you didn't even 3-bet versus their loose ranges. You essentially limp called when you could have raised and taken the initiative in this pot. DO NOT limp call.

As played what else can you do? but preflop is a spew imo

i like the limp pf but i think you should have then limp raised him. i would then CRAI on the flop. if he has ak or a set then its a cooler.

3bet pf w/AQ vs loose player 110%

As played...you've made it quite difficult for yourself but what other options do you have?

I guess what I'm asking is, have I overvalued TPGK here? Even though villain is a donk, his bet sizes represent a bigger hand, and I'm wondering if it was a mistake to chase it?

most possible holdings for villain given his actions on all streets are 99,88,A9,A8.maybe AK or JT but this is unlikely.
fold turn you are ahead only to JT.

well, I think you overvalued it, yes. I he's not a maniac (whaqt we will assume if we're not sure) then, with anything that it's not a project tat he coul dhave so he'd have raised that way, he has you beaten. I put him on AK, A9, A8, JT. Maybe he started with KK and became crazy with that A, trying to deem a monster...

Anyway, with TPGK, I think it's too much in these levels and I'm pretty sure he had you beaten before the river
