Default probaility of Axy flop?

How would I go about determining the probability of a flop containing one ace and two other cards lower than, say 10? For example, if I wanted an Axy flop where both x and y < 10?

4*32c2/52c3 ~ 8.977%

There are 4 ways to select an ace and 32c2 ways to select 2 cards from 32 possible cards (4*8=32)

Or you may do it like this :

The flop may be Axy , xAy , xyA .

The probability the first card is an ace is 4/52
The second card will be under a 10 with probability 32/51 .
The third card will be under a 10 with probability 31/50 .
So since the A can occupy any of the 3 positions , we have
4/52*32/51*31/50*3 ~ 8.977%

Awesome, thanks!

If I wanted a similar scenario, but instead the flop being an ace OR king and two cards below ten, then it would just be 8*32c2/52c3 ~ 17.95%, correct?

You didn't say it. But didn't you mean the rank of x and y are different? xy can't be a pair?

No... x and y don't need to be different. Sorry if that was misleading.

lisen, not sure why you are looking for this but if you were holding an ace in your hand it would change the numbers..
