Re: pocket qs, k flops
Flop is fine, maybe more like 500. A c/r line here is not terrible.
Turn I c/f here, time to shut it down. If bet is exceptionally small I'd consider a call. |

Re: pocket qs, k flops
I think that u can let this go now. Villain's cold-call of your raise over 2 limpers is strong pre, unless he sucks. I think u should have bet a little more on the flop (500-525), but it prob doesn't make much diff. If you feel like u have repped at least a K with your flop bet, then his call and turn lead indicate that he has you. The prob is if he has a hand like 88, and puts u on something like AQ;JJ after your flop bet, he might be betting for value/to protect his hand or trying to take the pot away from u. His turn lead (600 into 1670) is either weak/very strong. The 3 on the turn narrows his range further, he now likely has; TT;KQ;AK;KK if he's ahead, if he had AA, i would expect a flop raise, or a bigger turn bet. I don't think he leads turn/coldcalls preflop with QJ.
Bottom line...if u feel that u have repped at least a K, then folding is the right play IMO. If u call turn, u pretty much have to call any river. |

Re: pocket qs, k flops
Fold. Back door flush might hit, he might have a 3, probably has a King.
