Default Live 25/50 Hand at borg

Never played with villain before, nly hand we have played together, he makes it 225, I reraise to 800 with AK, he calls. Flop AQx rainbow, check check. Turn blanks, he bets 1100 I call. River blank, he bets 2700, I call and he instamucks. Also, he bought in for ~50k.

Onto the hand. I have 18.5k, villain covers.

UTG raises to 200, villain calls next from EP, 3rd guy calls, I make it 1100 with 23 from the CO. Not usually a fan of this type of play, but there were a couple of reasons why I thought this was the perfect spot. UTG folds, villain calls, 3rd player folds. Before the flop is dealt, villain says "I'm gonna try not to bluff off my chips to you this time", which makes me believe he is more likely to bluff (yes? no?).

Flop (2675): 2 3 7 rainbow. Villain checks, I bet 1700, he c/r to 5000 and I call.

Turn (12675): Q. Villain asks how much cash I am playing and then quickly throws 10k into the pot.

What does I do?!

smells like a slowplayed aa/kk to me, or a pure bluff, i really think most people would get a little trickier w a set, which realistically is the only thing u could be worried about.

you can beat his aces, so don't fold. and since you have only a few K left, shove the turn.

though i wonder, if we just call and the Q or 7 pairs we can get away, is it worth it to do that? can he ever have no pair here and be bluffing, and if so would he fire the last bit on the river?

i dont play nearly this high but what hands are we worried about here? would you cold call QQ after the utg raiser? Doesnt seem likely. We cant put him on just 77 or two pair, and if we are getting frisky with 23 this flop is gold, i stick it in.

with what he said, i think he has AA a gigando % of the time. i would never in a bajillion years fold here. also, what did guy look like i been playing decent bit of the borg 25-50/50-1 last couple days im curious.

You only have a couple grand left after the 10 so I just stick it in. Hope no A, K, Q or 7 hits the river and expect to see a slowplayed AA or KK at showdown.

I doubt his dialogue about not bluffing his chips means he intends to bluff. I think he is bringing to your attention again that he bluffed you earlier so that he will get action on his big pair. He can never put you on your hand so he thinks he's betting for value.

I think he gets trickier with 77 or QQ and I'd be surprised to see them turn up.

fistpump

Board: 2s 3d 7c Qs
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 49.318% 49.32% 00.00% 868 0.00 { 32s }
Hand 1: 50.682% 50.68% 00.00% 892 0.00 { QQ+, 77, 33-22 }

we're 50/50 if hes never bluffing, and at least a little ahead if hes ever bluffing > 0% of the time

As a followup question, if we have AA this would turn into a fold, yes?

raptor I'll post who he was later, want to hold out for now though because after people find out the responses tend towards what they would do given their read of villain
