if you have no reads on him and no idea how aggressive or tight hes been playing, he could have TT-AA, AcKc, or a set 88, 66, 22. I dont think shoving w 99 or TT is that great, so I think you're beat here most of the time.

If so, are you c/shoving low flops and c/fing flops with overs? This seems like a good way to lose value against the hands we are currently beating and we still go broke against the hands we are behind. Unless you are saying call and bet/fold low flops or something?

no i'm with you. with no antes i doubt a good player is raising light utg, and when you rr from the SB with the bottom of your range he's going to play pretty well against you.

no i'm with you. with no antes i doubt a good player is raising light utg, and when you rr from the SB with the bottom of your range he's going to play pretty well against you.

Yeah, basically. I'm also not a huge fan of putting in that much of our stack and then folding a lot of flops (any A/K, probably any Q). I'd only do that with KK/AA, maybe QQ.

Call or push. A push isn't terrible here. As played, that's an obvious call on the flop.

This depends on the flop. I think a lot of the time I'm cool with check/folding on an A or K high board. But if it comes Q36, I think I'm likely to float a reasonably flop bet and see what happens on the turn.

Villian could bet a 383 board with TT and we're ahead. Sometimes people will call a push with AK on a low board or with a T on it after you check raise and we're still ahead there. TPGK might call a check/push too etc etc.

why don't you put him on a range before you throw out [censored] like TPGK? guess what, there aren't any TPGK hands in his range that we ever beat on the flop.
