OP, I am in the same BR neighborhood as you 100NL. And I just recently moved up. To reduce variance, I leave a table anytime villain covers 10% of my BR. You shouldn't have been sitting if losing that much bothers you.

Accept responsibility for taking outsized risks. Suck it up and rebuild. Just get clear on your risk management principles and you will be fine.

Thanks, reassurance helps.

I generally do actually leave if someone has a 200bb stack when I get up to that amount as well, but in this case villan was a 80/50/5 guy and I couldn't get myself to pass that up -- he's the reason I was over 200bb in the first place.

If it was just that one hand I'd suck it up no problem after a half hour or so, but this weekend I moved to full tilt from stars and have taken hit after hit from hands like this... it's sickening to see it happen so much, and always to you.
