UTG checks, I bet $18, UTG raises to $36. I should ...

At the time I was really perplexed. After some thought, what am I possibly ahead of?

Just saw cbloom's thread about KK being check raised. This hand is full ring -- nine handed, if that makes a difference.

?? aren't you ahead a good part of his range? Raising UTG you can't put him on a 2...You are only behind to QQ/AA right now. UTG didn't 4bet PF so AA/QQ is less likey but still not out of the question.

UTG could have a flush draw,AQ, lower pairs, or even air just testing to see if you hit this flop...

I usually play 50NL but isn't this an easy push?

How wide is his preflop range out of position to call my raise? I agree he doesn't have a 2.

Why check raise the flop? Is that a lower pair, say TT or JJ? How often is he bluffing?

If he's good and tight you should fold. UTG in full ring has QQ/AA here always.
