Default live 6/12-reasonable sometime or senseless?

9-handed, weekday morning, generally loose passive. ~5/flop , PFR 1/orbit, no PF 3-bets in 45 minutes. Villain is best of the other players at table. I have played with her before and she is a bit loose preflop, and very aggressive both pre and postflop. Once she has the initiative she generally pushes hard betting all the way, but not infrequently will muck at show down (before opponent even shows). Postflop she generally bets, raises, or mucks, tends not to call.

Villain and I had both been at the table for 45 minutes and I had voluntarily played 2-3 hands, not gone to showdown, and won a single pot which was the hand I posted earlier today. On to the hand:

Villain under the gun raises.
Folds to me in the cut-off, I see AQo and 3 bet, button and blinds fold, villain folds.

Was this senseless spewing or something that should occasionally be done?

My thoughts were:
1. Villain's PFR range seemed relatively large.
2. I thought that if I were going to play, it would be better to get this hand heads up and retain position.
3. I actually thought there was only a small chance she was going to fold, so small that I was in fact surprised.
4. I was bored of not playing for 45 minutes and this was the best hand I'd seen (bad reason).

I just read this whole post to read that you 3bet AQo against a LAG.

If you mean open raise, and fold to a threebet, then yes that is senseless spewing.

Where was this?

I like the 3-bet, seems pretty standard given the situation you described. Villain's fold is an insanely horrible mistake 100% of the time. I've seen plays like this before as well, and just add it to my list of things I've seen in live games that I will never understand.
