Looking to get more math in my game...
I basically play on feel at this point in my career, and playing low limits at party that is by far enough. But as I move up in poker and play at higher and higher stakes, I would like to use more math in my game. That said, what are some basic odds memorizations, calculations, and EV calculations that some of you posters use in your games to go along with your reads and feels. Doesn't have to be real complicated stuff just some things that you can do on the fly when your faced with a marginal decisions. Right now all I really use are the odds of completing flushes and straights. I have read TOP, but I feel a lot of those calculations really apply just to Limit Hold'em where everything is so mechanical...

You don't need to know a ton of math. Knowing the odds of a flush/draw/fullhouse getting there on the next card and calculating pot odds are pretty much it

Re: Looking to get more math in my game...
poker is 100% mathematics with a whole lot of other stuff thrown in to obscure that simple fact
