At the end there is a glossary of terms. The first one is 'bar stool pundits' or BSP. When you are on the FAQ page you can use the search this page function on your web browser to seach for BSP.

I feel like a square, but I'm on New England at -3.5. (Risking 1.61u to win 1.5u). It just seems like the Patriots are clearly the best team in the league right now and are more than half a point better than San Diego on a neutral field.

Remember the last time these teams met? Right, so does LaDainian Tomlinson.

[/ QUOTE ]

The thing is the Chargers have done quite a bit of talking about how they beat themselves. Not that I disagree w/ them because they should've won by 2 scores. But it's not like the Pats are going to be lacking for motivation; especially after they inevitably twist this spygate thing into the predictable "us against the world" angle.

what does that really have to do with anything?

just something the media hypes up, but really has no outcome on the game

Ok I have placed my picks for week 2.

I am just getting into sports betting. So these are my first NFL picks of the year.

Tampa Bay +3 1u to win 1.15u
I like this because I am getting +115. I don't think 3 is a bad line, but I am getting nice odds. So I am making this a play

Miami +3.5 1.05u to win 1u
42, 38, 23, 31, 35. Points given up by Dallas in their last 5 regular season games. I know, Miami's offense is bad but three of those numbers were put up by the Lions, Giants, and Falcons. Because I now cover the coveted 3 point number, I think this is a great play at -105.

Teasing Indy -1.5 and Zona +8.5 1.1u to win 1u.

I want Cleveland as well (reasons stated earlier in thread) but they are -7 -115 at my book so I am patiently waiting for better.

Throw in another teaser.

GB is up to +1.5 so I am teasing them with Zona as well.

Desire is a very important component of capping. All the pro sharps will tell you that, esp as it applies to the NFL.
NEP is possibly distracted this week.

If SDG is approaching this like their GoTY, and NEP isn't, that's key info.

In principle, sure. But there's no way NE overlooks the 3rd best team in the league on a Sunday night showcase game. Both teams are going to be giving 100% in this one.
