This is standard on pogo high stakes. My dad has over 2,000,000 on pogo - mostly from bowling though. Calling with any pair or A high is always for value here.

be-be-cue. just like you use "an" before "hour" (for example), it's about the initial sound. abbreviation has nothing to do with it.

"An" is used when the first SOUND of the next word is a vowel sound. Em-Tee-Tee: check. Bee-Bee-Kyu: nope.
