I'm not sure if the floorguys you discussed are smart enough to be flora, plants are probably smarter, even plastic ones. Maybe mineral.

Drunkus slowupicus - this species is about as sharp as a bag of wet newspapers when they're sober. When they are drunk, it becomes exponentially worse. Six hours into their stint at 2-4 they will be heard to ask "how much is it to me?" At that point they'll still get it wrong. Average hands per down: 7

Hollywoodicus lowlimitus - this moron never misses the WPT, and he learns all he knows there too. True story from a while back shows the nature of this beast:

I'm dealing 2-4 limit. This kid has a parka (hood up), baseball hat, sunglasses and headphones. He's thinking WAY too hard for this game. One hand it's UTG raise, reraise, he thinks and coldcalls. Other two player cap it a five bets. Flop is queen high, two clubs. Bet, raise, he calls. Gets capped, he's in. Action on turn screams OVERPAIRS, but he goes to river and loses with Qh3h. Two hands later there's no one in the pot yet, and he calls for time BEFORE THE FLOP. I told him "it's 2-4, not the world poker tour. You don't get time". Hey, It was a longshot, but it worked :-) average hands per down: 9

Supergenicus idioticus - this species is well known for their never ending stream of idiotic "wisdom" and ever present analysis of recent hands. "See, your aces got beat, that's why you shouldn't raise with them."

Cigaretteicus coffeebreathicus - this one is self-explnatory (gag)

Al

Mohenganus Whathappenedus - players STILL asking why mohegan lost their poker room/old nits who talk about how much better is was etc. somewhat diminished since the announcment that they will have a new room.

You forgot my favorite time waster...

Washemup-opotumus : Asks for a wash anytime he loses a pot, or anytime the flop looks similar to the last flop, or anytime he has three rag hands in a row, or, you know, when he 'feels' like they could use a good wash.

A skilled washemup-opotumus can keep the table under 5 hands per dealer.

His cousin Hellmuthus River-Raptor After insta-calling a caps and raises on all streets, he is faced with a bet that gives him 24:1 odds on the river. He now engages in a prolonged staredown in an effort to create suspense over his inevitable decision, albeit the same choice that he has made on every hand throughout his poker life-span.

Bookwormicus - At the 5-10 game there are often nits that read books during the game. Doesn't help the hands per hour...

1 more.

Limperius Wussius. Thows out 5$ to call but takes it back when he is informed that this hand is a kill pot. His hand is good against the blinds but cannot take on a blind straddle
