[ QUOTE ]
Anyone who misses more than, say, a half day of work because of a pet's death either doesn't need that job very much or doesn't care about the job very much.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would probably have to miss more work. My wife would be distraught and I would have to take care of her needs.

I'd say my dog died too and skip at least a week, then go to Vegas or watch grass grow, or chew on my intestines instead.

I don't think missing one day of work is a terrible thing for this.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I have to agree with this. I've missed a day of work like 4 times this year just because I was too hungover to make it to the office, so I'm not going to rag on someone for staying home when their dog dies. But a week is pretty ridiculous (especially when no adequate replacement is arranged).

So your dog dying (no idea how to spell that)

Realize this "week" was only two days.

Big Steve also has shot and killed a man breaking into his house. He is pretty much the most badass gay guy ever.

I still pretty much look like this except a little less weight a little more tan and I shaved the "nut duster" off.

You know you live in a [censored] up world when a dog dies and people are in shambles but millions of people die from preventable causes around the world daily and they don't bat an eyelid.
