I need some advice on this one.
Ok, here is the situation: I got the Cubs to win a three game series with the Pirates. Pirates won game one. Last nights game was suspended 6-5 Cubs ahead. My wager was marked as a loss. Here is the explanation I got from 5dimes:
Baseball games are considered official after 5 innings of play (4½ if the home team is winning). If a game is called or suspended after 5 innings, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning of play - unless the home team scores to tie or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning. The winner is then determined by the score at the time the game is called. When betting on baseball totals or run-lines, the game must go 9 innings (8½ if the home team is winning). Laura: The winner is determined by the score after the last full inning of play. Laura: The Cubs trailed, 5-3, heading into the seventh Laura: And thus the wager was graded with this score, the last full inning of play. Did I get [censored] on this one? Is this grading correct? This just doesn't seem fair. It is hard enough to beat this game without this kind of [censored]. Any thoughts? |

Yes, the grading is correct. Yes, it sucks.
There's already another thread on this, locking this one: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...umber=10206300 |
