The 9 sucks for you; you need to fold the turn. He is loose; QQ/JJ are definately possible holding for him. KT, QJ, Q9, J9 are all in his range; T8 might be too.

The only thing you are ahead of here is KK and I think KK would have raised you on the flop (If he had AA, I think he'd have raised the flop too).

Button raises 100BB on the turn and says he can beat your top pair/overpair. I think I believe him here and fold.

This would be a good spot. You have told him that you have a hand and he responded that he can beat one pair. Without a good read, this is a fold.

I don't see how you can fold this because you have built yourself such a huge pot. You are getting 3 to 1 pot odds on the turn and he might have a flush draw over which you are a huge favourite. He might even have something worse like an underpair or AK. Maybe he just has AQ. thats all a little optimistic but I think the pot is too big to give up.

You are giving villain 2-1 to call preflop, make it a little bit bigger preflop, but perhaps I am too cautious.

Bet full pot at the flop, well you almost do that, so ok.

Turn lead ok, but his raise says you are beat, and he knows that you have a hand, and if you are beat you have almost no outs, only against QJ you have 2 outs against a straight none, so fold after his raise.

I play it exactly the same. You are getting 2.5/1 on the turn and you have to call.

well your opponent might SAY that he has you beat but he may be overplaying his hand himself or (semi) bluffing. some people are so stubborn they put you on AK when you reraise them and stick to that conclusion for the rest of the hand, no matter what you tell them by your bets. this guy may well have just an underpair and trying to protect against your AK. And a flush draw is relatively likely. Again you are a huge favourite against a flushdraw. an overplayed AQ has 2 outs. You have build yourself a huge pot. don't fold here.

He almost definitely does not have a flush draw. It's pretty unlikely he's raisin turn with a flush draw here.


Turn looks like a fold.

I don't think its enough to say, "we have AA and are getting 3-1. So call".

The flush draw doesn't wake up on the turn and push. The only hands we beat that push the turn are AQ, KK, and maybe KQ. We lose to QJ, KT, T8, Q9, J9, and sets.
