Default Encouraging my GF to work out

When I met my girlfriend she was a super-fit hottie. Since we've been together (over a year) she's gained about 10 pounds and is visibly pudgy. She talks often about feeling bad and wanting to get back in shape and work out more, but so far is not really taking the right steps. I have been using the typical man response the whole time, eg. "you look great the way you are" "no, you're not fat, you're gorgeous" etc. while meaning them less and less.

So, is there a way I can help her or encourage her to get back in shape without becoming the villain?

Suggest she come along with you to the gym to keep you company?

Liar, a super-fit hottie doesn't turn to the Michelin Man over 10lbs. A super-fit hottie gaining 10 lbs means bigger [censored].

my friend just makes his gf come with him whenever he goes to the gym. next time she mentions it, say ok and get some introductory passes somewhere and stick to a schedule. by making it more about being able to do something together as well as working towards a healthier lifestyle you should be able to deflect most of the negative aspects here

Install a stripper pole. You can watch her burn off the poundage and get an erotic show to boot.

Be honest and say that working out wouldn't hurt. Tell her that she'll be healthier and look more attractive. Seriously.

The only proven way to get a woman lose weight is to break up with them. Those extra pounds will come flying off.

when you are making out start grabbing those love handles. Or buy her a nice pair of jeans as a gift. Get her the size that she used to wear. She will feel very fat.

Edit. Looking over my advice, I am not sure if I am joking or serious.
