Default Scotty Nguyen

What happened to this guy?

I remember in 2002, when I first started playing, he was all over TV, WSOP, being praised, giving tips.

Now he vanished from the face of the earth.

Was he ever a big cash game player?

He's cashed 3 times in the WSOP including a 2nd place (which it seems there was a deal in so really a 1st place chop).

I don't think he has vanished.

His last big win was in Jan 2006 at a WPT event. Nothing newsworthy since then.

He was in the most recent edition of I think Bluff Magazine (possibly one of the other major poker mags-whatever one had Shannon Elizabeth on it) with an article about using table talk to your advantage.

I was wondering the same thing. In the 2003 WSOP reruns I watched the other night on ESPN classic, he was a really good TV personality. Nothing to the likes of Umberto Brenes, but a quick talking quick acting jovial player.

In his last TV appearances it seems this person has disappeared, he is quiet and reserved and seems different.

Anyone know why the extreme change in character?
