Yes that has been said a while ago. GSN bought out WPT.. ratings for Travel channel sucked anyways.

Poor Jman, he's going to look bad in the eyes of America.

Well at least he won't "embarass" himself too long considering he didn't make the cut for the 500k table. Guess he'll have to be happy w/ his +20k gain. Gotta hate only being able to play like 50 hands w/ the aggro donks of Eli, Gold and Farha.

You don't have to be a live donk to laugh at that showdown fold. Remember when James Woods did that?s

The rest of this season is going to be crazy. I'm looking forward to it... If only they'd stop the one hand segments.. Those are really frustrating.

Not gonna berate him. He didn't think it was good and probably didn't want anyone to know he was raising with T7.

Ummm...how about keep your cards in your hand until somebody tables something that beats you?

at least theyll stop talking about how galfond will only play top 10 hands

I don't know... I think to count as 'playing' a hand you have to show it down when it wins part of the pot.

Not a hater.

[/ QUOTE ]

prob should have waited but i would find it hard to believe my T7 would win part on a AKJJ7 board...figured someone wuold show a K or something but they never did...

[/ QUOTE ]

Yet if you watch it nobody else mucked their hand because they did not know who won. People turned their hands over, long after he mucked his..

Not really defensible. Would be nice if he admited that he was really star-struck and uncomfortable in front of the cameras and playing a live game. That was clearly the case.. and all these other excuses are just that...

He knew he mucked the winning hand and didn't say anything either.. why is that?

I don't want to bash the guy, but it would be good if we got some honesty. He was out of his element and out of his depth. Just as most any of us would be in the same situation.

Who the hell is this Frenchman who, according to Doyle, is the only guy in the 500K game that can actually afford to play that high? I've never seen him before.

Kaplan made a good point tonight. Jamie Gold, for someone who aspires to be the world's greatest bluffer, doesn't value bet nearly enough. I don't recall seeing anybody check down as many winners on this show as him. Sometimes he does it so quickly it seems like he's not even considering a bet.

For someone who is notorious bluffer, it seems +EV to bet when you have it, too. That's just me.

Probably pocket change for him. 1 thing I must say is Sammy is a hell of a value better. WTF is Hellmuth getting insurance on a 65k pot for like 10k when he's up 400k ? Bring back the props I would much rather see that than Hellmuth's BS.
