400NL preflop decision with AKs
BU is Ho_Li_Fuq is pretty solid TAG as far as I can tell
SB is some 50/5/1 fish somehow I'd hate to play my hand here out of position without initiative. Is there any value in reraising or shoving or sth.? My Image was pretty standard I think. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) BB ($110.47) Hero ($416) MP ($768.71) Button ($398) SB ($110.18) Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $14, 1 fold, Button raises to $52, SB calls $50, 1 fold, Hero ?? |

Re: 400NL preflop decision with AKs
the fact that both blinds are short and bad makes it much more likely that villain has a real hand here.
i still think shoving is best here but callin isnt too bad, its hard for villain to bluff the flop because the sb-fish will call him with just about everything. |

Re: 400NL preflop decision with AKs
I guess you could shove, if you wouldnt mind winning the pot right there, or being called only having a 50% chance at best of winning... Up to you.
I prefer to make it 150/175 and go from there. |
