Default Replica Holes and Replica Courses

Two I know of, but I'm sure there are more.... lets make a list and what you thought of them if you have played em.

Northern Bay (Wisconsin near the Wisconsin Dells)

7 replica holes including:
17 Sawgrass
18 Bayhill
16 Augusta National
The par 5 from Amen Corner
the remaining three I cant remember, but I think one was from Oakmont, and another from Firestone CC.

Replicas were good as far as identical design. The slope of the green on 18 Bayhill really is severe. 17 from Sawgrass looked almost like the original island green. obviously, treelines and such are not replicated, but the elevation changes and slopes looked to be pretty good matches.

World Golf Tour(Carolina)

Never played here but would love a review from someone who has.

From what I understand, there 3 seperate 9's
The US Open courses nine
The Foreign courses nine
And a nine that has all of Amen corner, 17 Sawgrass and other famous signature holes.

I have heard there is another somewhere in the Orlando area... anyone know of this one?

This seems like a really cheesy idea to me.

Google "Redan," the most-copied hole in golf -- now the 15th at North Berwick West, dating from 1895.

Best known redan-inspired holes are likely the Charles Macdonald 4th at National and the 7th next door at Shinnecock.

(I've been fortunate to have played the original, and walked the other two...)

I played Northern Bay few weeks ago. I thought the the course was awesome, but I really like the idea of replica holes. The course is only 2 years old maybe 3 so the fairways and greens still need a lot of growing and balls roll out quite a bit on the fairways and near impossible to stick on the greens.

There are actually 9 replica holes there, but a few of them they are not allowed to advertise right now because of legal proceedings (at least that is what the starter told us).

All in all I thought the course was cool and the replica holes were pretty accurate except the church pews bunker hole where I think the church pews should have been bigger.

Holes 10 and 18 (10 is the TPC 17th replica and 18 is the 18th at bayhill) were the 2 best holes on the course. It took me 3 balls to get on the green on 10, but there were 35 mph wind gusts.
