Default German law student (and 2p2 troll) claims that online poker is rigged.

... in an interview.

LOL, first off: Its about "Opaaufpoka" or "Mark the muck" (= 2p2 accounts). Most hate him, some like him, I stopped caring... BUT ... this is just way too hilarious.

Apparently this is a German pokermagazine and they did an interview with him. Here is the original link but its obviously in German (http://www.pokern.com/forum/poker-...) so I made a quick translation for you guys.

Bluff: Mr. "OpaaufPoka", could you briefly explain who you are?

Opaaufpoka: My realname is Mark (24) and Im going to college. I started out playing poker roughly one year ago, since then Im known as Opaaufpoka on the internet.

B.: ...and you turned into the typical highroller, beating the highest limits and having locked up your first million?

OaP: No, not at all. I play the microlimits exlcusively because online poker is rigged. Every now and then I enjoy destroying the NL600 donks, but after that I cash out immediately. Theyre not gonna fool me.

B.: What do you mean by "rigged"?

OaP: Its simple: The online casinos live off the rake we pay; rake is paid in big pots. Big pots happen when good starting hands match with a good board. Online I dont even want to play KK anymore, cause I know somebody´s got aces or the set.

B.: Pretty bold thesis. Why are these online casinos so popular then?

OaP: Because nobody in particular is having a disadvantage. People chalk the extreme swings to "variance" and say "thats poker".

B.: Isnt that quite right?

OaP: No, its not. Its not poker when every 10 hands you run with one monster into another. He who plays live poker will know what real poker is like. There your kings will hold and having quads isnt an everyday experience.

B.: But live you get dealt a lot less hands.

OaP: True, but Im taking that into account already. People who play live (like me) since one year will notice the difference. Live, I have never had quads, a straight flush or a royal flush. I have seen them maybe 3 or 4 times, but thats it. When there is a 3bet in a casino we jokingly say "Careful! Internet-hand!"

Rest of the interview is about why people actually know this person and other random stuff.

again, its not about flaming, hating or feeding the trolls here. I just found it hilarious and wanted to share... and Im probably gonna kill somebody if this gets printed.

Why didn't they ask him if he knew the German Juggernaut?

Also, I'd like to hear his theory on games that routinely pay the max rake by simply seeing a flop.
