Default better lines?

5/10 Hold'em (6 handed)

Villain is a thinking LAG. He has a 43 wtsd% but I've also seen him make an uncomfortable fold or two. He's probably a breakeven player.

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls.

Turn: (5.75 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, SB folds.

Final Pot: 5.75 BB

I don't like the flop raise, you're probably not a favorite, you might push some worse hands drawing slim out, and bad cards can fall where you don't really want the initiative. As played I'd check the turn and call a river bet.

why don't you like the flop raise exactly? This is a very interesting hand I think (in my opinion this are the important hands, and not "how can I extract the most with four of a kind".

If sb reraises on the Flop you can easily fold uninproved on the turn. If he will not three bet at least I think you will get a free showdown - as long as he does not raise you on the turn - then of course you have to fold.

I am very interested in more comments about this hand. And if the raise on the flop is really not a good thing, please explain it to me.

I really think this was a good line, as long as you are a player capable to fold on 4th street.

I already explained why it's not a good thing. Raising the flop intending on folding the turn if 3 bet or taking a "free" showdown is awful, especially against a thinking LAG.

building the pot on flop with a decent holding planning to fold on the turn on a drawy board is a poor idea against a LAG, you'll fold the best hand way to often. Take it to SD and don't give him the chance to steal the pot from you.
